Founded in 1984, Starting Point, Inc. has more than 40 years of experience providing professional, compassionate substance use disorder services. Throughout our history, we have remained committed to helping individuals navigate DUI/DUII requirements, substance use evaluations, education, treatment, and recovery with respect and dependable support.

We work with individuals who need services for Washington and Oregon courts, probation, attorneys, and licensing requirements, as well as individuals seeking substance use services on their own.
DUI & Substance Use Evaluations / Assessments
We understand that DUI-related requirements can be stressful and often have important deadlines. Our goal is to make the evaluation process as clear and efficient as possible.
Starting Point takes pride in completing evaluations promptly. In most cases, completed evaluations are submitted to the appropriate authorized parties within 2–4 business days, provided all required documentation, testing, releases, and other necessary information have been received.
ADIS – Alcohol & Drug Information School
Starting Point offers the 8-hour Alcohol & Drug Information School (ADIS) for individuals who are required to complete alcohol and drug education.
Our ADIS program is Washington DOL certified and court approved, with live telehealth and in-person options available.
Washington DUI Services — Even If You Live Out of State
Received a DUI in Washington but no longer live in Washington?
Starting Point may be able to help you complete applicable Washington DUI evaluation, education, and treatment requirements through our live telehealth services, depending on your individual requirements and circumstances.
Live in Washington or Oregon but Received a DUI in Another State?
If you currently live in Washington or Oregon but received a DUI in another state, Starting Point may be able to work with you and the appropriate out-of-state court, probation department, licensing agency, or other authorized party to help you meet that state’s DUI evaluation, education, or treatment requirements.
Because DUI requirements vary from state to state, our team can review the requirements you have been given and determine whether Starting Point’s services can satisfy them. When appropriate, we can coordinate documentation and reporting with the requesting agency.
